About the Album

On Crocodile Man, The High 48s continue to explore new musical territory while staying true to their hard bluegrass roots. From the opening cut, a swampy bluegrass take on Dave Carter’s psychedelic folk masterpiece “Crocodile Man,” to the plaintive closer, Hazel Dickens’ “A Few Old Memories,” the album is a tour through the band’s broad range of influences.
