About the Album
On Crocodile Man, The High 48s continue to explore new musical territory while staying true to their hard bluegrass roots. From the opening cut, a swampy bluegrass take on Dave Carter’s psychedelic folk masterpiece “Crocodile Man,” to the plaintive closer, Hazel Dickens’ “A Few Old Memories,” the album is a tour through the band’s broad range of influences.

We played the entire album front to back for the first set and then took requests for the second set, it was an epic night and a proper send off for this new album that we are so proud of!!
