We’re honored to once again be teaching at the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Association’s Grass Seeds Academy, an intensive three-day music camp for kids ages 8-18 that takes place during the Bluegrass Winter Weekend festival in Plymouth, MN March 4-6.
We always enjoy working with these talented young musicians and are impressed with what they are able to accomplish in just a few days. They arrive as strangers with various acoustic instruments and over the course of the weekend they form bands, arrange songs and end up playing and singing bluegrass on stage in front of a live audience – pretty cool!
If you plan on coming to the festival, make sure to stick around for the Grass Seeds recital at 1PM on the auditorium stage to witness the future of MN bluegrass!

We’re excited to be back for a second season of winter Bluegrass Brunches at the Aster Cafe, everySaturday from 11AM-1PM for the months of Januaryand February!
There’s no cover and they even have a parking ramp with underground tunnel access to the venue- so bring your family and friends out of the cold and into the promised land of bacon, eggs, bloodys and bluegrass, it’s the perfect way to start your weekends this winter!
